Dr. David Becton is Professor and Chief of the Hematology/Oncology Division, Department of Pediatrics, at Arkansas Children's Hospital. He has been with the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Arkansas Children's Hospital since 1985. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. He received his degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1979. He served his internship in Pediatrics at University Hospital and Arkansas Children's Hospital from 1979 until 1982. He served as Chief Resident in 1982. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina from 1982 until 1985.

Dr. Becton is also the Medical Director of the Hemophilia Center of Arkansas; the Outpatient Medical Director for Arkansas Children's Hospital; and Medical Director for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
